Today's music?

Rob Laufer - "Wonderwood" (1995 - Discovery Records)...a nice record by a singer/guitarist- pop-folk, but good

Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003 - 7:48 p.m.

Four days off was nice, but its never enough

Back to work tomorrow.

Fuck.

Spent the day doing little to nothing.

Well, thats not exactly true- I did get the Christmas lights and decorations up outdoors.

Looked pretty good when we looked at it a dark tonight.

Less than an hour later, over of the lights are now out. I think one of those tiny 3 amp fuses blew on one of the lines. It will take a little tracing to find which one is dead, but I dont feel like messing with them right now.

Maybe tomorrow

NEWS FLASH!

I put up three strings on lights on our garage today.

I havent put any lights on this garage in the past.

Looks purty, too.

O.K.- maybe that isnt news to you, but its new to Casa Roadiepig.

Hey, can you believe it? The Bears won again to day.

That, along with the crappy play by other the teams in their division, means the Mediocre Monsters of the Midway are only 2 games out of first place.

They won easily today, 28-3.

Of course, they were playing the Arizona Cardinals, who are as bad a professional football team as you are likely to ever see (sorry if anyone reading this is even remotely a fan of this pathetic franchise, but the do suck royally , and they always do. They also have a long history that can be traced back to Chicago. I guess that explains their tradition of loosing, year after year. But I digress)

Next week? The Green Bay Packers, in Cheezeheadland.

The week after that? At home against the Vikings, the other team ahead of them in the NFC Least (also known as the Central Division).

Not likely, but they could be in first place if they win both games.

I bet they wish they had back those two games they lost by missing field goals back in October (both 2 point losses)

They would be in first place if they had only made those two kicks.

How does the old saying go? If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, wed have Christmas every day

Think about that one a little.

It still wont make any sense
