Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 - 9:52 p.m. Remember the Grinchs dog? Well.. We punished our boys tonight by attaching fake antlers to their heads, too. Ours were only held on with the tension provided by the plastic headband attached to the fake antlers, so no harm was done to the dogs. Wellmaybe to their self-esteem. But I think they will get over it These photos provided a problem that you dont have with humans- dogs have green eye instead of red eye. The red eye reduction effect on both of my photo editing programs has no effect on the dogs green eyes. That means I have to hand paint each of their pupils and irises. Not an easy job, especially with Tony Boneheads matching irises that mirror his fur brown. This is the best I can do, with the programs I have. Maybe one day, I will install Photoshop on my computer. Not now, though... One of my fat ass, and my two boys. One very old, one still acting like he is a puppy: Quite a snappy dresser, arent I? And more chins than a San Francisco phone book... Lease said I should show this one to you, because both of the boys in this photograph consider me their Alpha male. Silly, arent they? Jay-dog managed to make me (almost) late this morning by kicking a full bowl of kibbles across the floor, trying to avoid me as I gave Sprout his morning dose of medicine. He managed to kick some of the bits high enough that they ended up landing on the stove.
You ever hear George Carlins routine about how dogs can do something that leaves you pissed off all day, even hours later at work? Jay-dog did his best to do that for me this morning The best thing about this weekend? We are COMPLETELY finished with our Christmas shopping. Both of us. So No mall. No fighting the unruly, angry crowds, hoping to make their last-minute purchases. All we need to do is make a grocery run (thinkin Krogers or Aldis here), and maybe take in a new movie at the local cinema tomorrow. But no insanity at the shopping Mecca of Mohall. That, my friends , makes me a very happy person
