Furniture shopping is not for those of us with both the X and Y chromosomes

Lease was finally able to decide on a color/cloth for the living room furniture today. It wasnt any of the 8 color numbers that we had from the Lazy-boy web site. None of them looked close in color when held in hand. After that, we just went through book after book of sample pieces until

She found the perfect combination of color, pattern, and texture:

Shes happy, so I am happy.

All three pieces have to be made, so we wont have them in the living room for at least 5 weeks.

That should give the federal government time to process our tax return, dont you think?

If not, it better snow a little bit more between now and then

A quick photo for you:

Antonio was doing a little welding last week, and he made a mistake on this piece of steel. After removing it from his project, he decided it would make a good subject for me to shoot with my macro lens and +4 filter. Since the filter works on the Rebel, it made it easier to shoot than with the Minolta (holding the filter against the lens with one hand while hitting the release with the other):

Kinda reminds me of something from one of the Aliens films.
