Friday, Sept. 16, 2005 - 7:21 p.m. Thought I would stop in...let you know how well this vacation has gone. Big Brother is on right now (Lease is watching, so here I am). The temperatures here has ranged from 97� on Monday to 69� for the high today. Weird, but typical fall weather. Fishing has been very good, especially considering the weather. I have 5 different bags of fillets in the mini-fridge in our room. Mostly bluegill, but there are quite a few decent crappie (for Sef at work- should be good for a few pounds of his latest beef), and one bag containing only the boneless meat from one 8+ pound channel catfish, caught this morning on a small white RoosterTail spinner?(yes, a spinner- that is a first for me, too) Plenty of photos when I get home and can upload them for you. Heading back north tomorrow afternoon. The one big problem with a trip this good? We have to return to our dreary factory town. But it is home, and you know what Dorthy learned about that, right?
