Been real busy the past few days- everything is becoming ripe at the same time. That means Lease and I are in the kitchen, putting the good stuff up for later consumption. This photo show what we accomplished Saturday morning. These are not peaches- these are nectarines from my miniature tree in the front of our house. I managed to get a 5-gallon bucket full before tree rats and mold destroyed the crop this year. These should taste really good next January, when the fresh produce isle gets a little bit thin...
