And yes, the photo is blurry on purpose. Read below, and you'll understand why. About 10 am Saturday morning, the man in handcuffs was spotted walking up and down the street from the sidewalk, looking down the driveways of my neighbors and my house. One of our neighbors is a police officer, and the suspicious behavior of the young man got the best of him. After calling in the tags on the car, it was found out that driver was wanted for questioning because he was a recently released client of the state judicial system, and had reportedly been seen in public carrying a firearm. Nice. As he was pulling away from the curb, the two police cars in this photo trapped his car. They took no chances - firearms drawn, they told the former convict to slowly get out of his car and had him put his hands on the roof of the car, where they quickly handcuffed him. Around this time I was out front of my house with Tony Bonehead on his leash. Just a coincidence that I was taking him for a walk right as the police arrived (um, not really- but he didn't know that, did he?) It never hurts to let unwanted thugs know that we have large dogs living in our home. After thoroughly searching his car, they un-cuffed him and let him go. Not happy about that, but without any evidence, I guess they had to let him go. Why was he acting in this strange manner? We think he used to be a regular visitor of our former neighbor, the drug dealer. Maybe he came back to settle a score with the D.D.N. Maybe he was looking for something to steal. I really don't know. Hopefully, the time he spent with the local police was enough for him to stay out of our neighborhood....
