Wednesday, Jul. 11, 2007 - 8:30 p.m. Ringo? I don't think so (cute puppy photo included).... Our new puppy Rex (named after the Chicago Bear's quarterback- the media all treat Rex Grossman like a dog, so it fits). The pound had given him the name "Ringo", but he wasn't even my favorite Beatle, so that name had to go. For a day or so I thought about naming him Joakim, after Joakim Noah, the Chicago Bulls 1st round draft pick last week (Jay-dog was named after Jay Williams, another Chicago Bull who had wrecked a motorcycle and broken his leg the same week that Jay-dog had come up with a broken leg himself at the pet adoption place.) Yes, he has Pit Bull in him. He's 1/2 something else, too. We had good luck with Codeman's Pit Bull mix, so we don't fear this breed of dog. Rex is only around 6 months old, and he hasn't had any signs of abuse. Jay-dog has been lost ever since Tony Bonehead (Codeman's Pit Bull mix) moved out with Codeman and Stephanie.
