Just try to get this song out of your head.plus- a basketball update, and another flower photo.

If you have QuickTime loaded on your computer, you really need to click on this link.

Once there, you will be treated to a video that I never knew existed.

Leonard Nimoy, singing about Bilbo Baggins?

Must be seen to be believed.

Play it twice, and tell me if you can block the song from your mind.

Bet you cant.

The Illini won today by 19 points. They get to face the University of Cincinnatis mens basketball team on Sunday.

This is a school that scored one of the lowest graduation rates in the most recent 5-year study of all division1 programs.

How many of their student/ athletes received their diploma (in the 5-year time frame the NCAA uses to figure this out)?

Cant be sure, but they were one of only 16 schools who refused to release their information this year

But in 2002, they had a total of ZERO graduating students.

ZERO!

If that isnt a school using these young men for their entertainment value only, I dont know what it is.

The coach of this squad (Bob Huggins) teaches a pressing, playground style of ball that helps them rack up regular season wins, but causes the team to wilt almost every year in the tourney. I believe they were the very first #2 seed to loose to a #15 seed a few years back.

They almost lost again today, finally scoring the winning basket with just a few seconds on the clock. Their lead was as high a 15 in this game, but they were behind with less than a minute to play.

They are the #4 seed this year. Hopefully, the good guys from Champaign ( Illinois was named to the Sporting News list of the top 20 athletic departments in the nation last year) will outsmart the Bearcats on Sunday.

Ill leave you with another photo of one of my "forced" flower:

These are tiny purple Dutch iris flowers. Each bloom is about 1/8th the size of the larger bearded iris plants that bloom each summer.

Hope yall have a great weekend
