Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 - 6:43 a.m. Spent the weekend, just trying to get caught up. Lost some sleep the past couple of weeks that I�ll never get back . There was a time when that didn�t mess me up too much, but I�m not that young anymore. Lease and I spent most of Saturday evening wrapping Christmas presents. Doing this while also watching the Illini remain undefeated (10-0 now) was somewhat distracting, but a nice way to spend a relaxing evening none the less. The Bears went down in flames yesterday, losing badly to the Pittsburg Steelers. Their 8 game winning streak ended. That they won 8 in a row was somewhat smoke and mirrors anyway- they have the lowest-rated offense in football, so they defense and special teams have to score most of the points anyway. Since they play7ed so poorly, I ended up using my free time in the afternoon and evening editing more of the family photos. My goal is to have a cd-rom filled with as many old and new shots as I can by Christmas, so I can give one to everyone in Lease�s family. Lease thinks I have given most of these photos to individual family members through the years (probably have), but maybe they will like having all of them on one slide show disc anyway. There are also a couple of dozen really old black and whites that Lease�s mom dug up for me to scan for this project. Everyone in these has passed away many moons ago, but they are part of family history. Like this one:
No, that isn�t Lease and I in the shot. She thinks it is her great grandmother and grandfather on her mom�s side of the family. They look like they might have the same height difference as us, though�.
