Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008 - 8:26 p.m. At least the car looks good... Gloomy weather all day today- it was very warm (a high of 56º- about 25º above the norm), but almost dark because of heavily overcast skies. I am not just waiting for the clod front to pass our area. It should happen in the next couple of hours, dropping the temperature from the present 50º to a low of 18º. Freezing rain as it starts, changing to light snow. Should all happen before I rotate off of night call, meaning I have a lousy night of trying to sleep, waiting for a phone call to come to work. And I think I have mentioned before how much I HATE freezing rain, right? Anyway... Lease wanted to take a picture of me with our new car (see yesterday's entry), so I obliged. It would have helped if we had done this BEFORE I spent a couple of hours working around the yard outside- that's the reason for my sloppy appearance and sweaty hair. But here it is anyway...
