Mardi Gras, Mohall North Dakota styleplus- a couple more photos of D.D. Neighbor, and his continuing move.

Yeah, time for some Cajun food, made by people who live in the sub-arctic area of this fine country.

They do a pretty good job, so Im not complaining or anything.

Tonight, there will be a total of 9 (or maybe 11) in our group, going from restaurant to bar, getting our cards stamped and free beads at each stop. After that, a band in a beer tent.

Yes, it will be cold tonight. With the wind chill expected to be in the single digits, there shouldnt be any boob-flashing.

You can fill in your own joke here.

A couple of photos of my (former) D.D. Neighbor, taken this morning:

I guess there were still things to move inside the waterlogged house next door. The items in his hands looked to be ledgers and book keeping supplies. Must not have had drug transaction records, or the Police would have taken them during last month's raid.

With his sons helping him, he filled his Explorer at least twice today. The dumpster in the background is now overfilled, too:

This is how full the D.D.Neighbor's dumpster is right now, after a morning of hauling damaged (both by water and neglect/sloth) personal possession out from the disaster area next door.

I thought this dumpster looked small when I first noticed it- they haven't even started ripping the walls apart to fix the water damage.

Probably be gone, with a bigger dumpster in its place next Monday.

Is this invading his privacy? I don't think so. He is in his front yard.

And after having NDDEA squads bust his doors down twice in the last 3 years, I think he would be used to his neighbors watching him.

You never know what he might do next....

The Minolta will be with me tonight. I imagine there will plenty to point and shoot.

Just not the things you might see at New Orleans, with the much warmer weather that will be enjoying today.
