Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002 - 8:26 a.m. Yeah, the fine folks at Photogra have my new photo gallery up and running for the 'public'. Finally. If you want to view the shots, click on this link. Let me know what you think of them... I don't have time to write, so I will just leave you with the bizarre story from the world of sports: Soccer player worth his weight in�shrimp? ( Courtesy of �The Chronicles of the Bored� newsletter) Weight Worth in Shrimp Here in the US, millions of dollars are exchanged sometimes when a player gets traded from one team to the next. However, in Norway, soccer club Vindbjart agreed to sell striker Kenneth Kristensen in return for his weight in shrimps. The player will be officially weighed when Vindbjart plays his new team, Floey, this Saturday. The team will receive approximately 165 lbs. of shrimp that will be used at a party the following week. Surprisingly, there were no hard feelings between Vindbjart and Kristensen as he said that he had wanted to swap clubs due to a "remarkably beautiful girl" living on the island. I guess the last line sums it up pretty well. Being that the player initiated the trade because of the �remarkably pretty girl� living on island where his new team is located, I guess you can see where his head is ;)
